Forskning En stor del av Themas arbete består av forskning inom områdena diskriminering och mänskliga rättigheter.
Under 2007 och 2008 har Maria Bideke (Verksamhetschef Thema) och Marcus Bideke (Sakkunnig Thema) varit anlitade av the European Union Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA, tidigare EUMC) som experter inom området diskriminering. Detta arbete utfördes inom ramarna för projektet RAXEN, som är ett europeiskt projekt med syfte att inhämta data och information inom området diskriminering, främlingsfientlighet och rasism.
Thema har under 2006 också skrivit ett antal juridiska rapporter för the European Monitoring Centre on Racism and Xenophobia (EUMC).
