In Sweden Thema is using this strategy to accomplish a change in the area of discrimination and human rights, by refering important cases of discrimination and human rights abuse to various international foras.

During 2006 Thema represented one individual in a discrimination case at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg and in 2008 Thema represented an individual at the European Court in a case concerning the right to family life.
